I just got back from Noosa, QLD. Didn't even know that i was going? That would be because the carefully crafted, incredibly witty post that i wrote, detailing my last night in adelaide (involving church at the part and an awesome trip to the beach with Loz) disapeared into cyber space. Never mind, you didn't miss much.
Basically, the last week has been spend in sunny Noosa, 500m from the beach. Noosa is great. It's always so laid back and cheery. The weather was lovely and hot most days, humid and rainy others. I got a little sun (not enough to make a respectable tan...), read some books, bought new clothes and bathers, swam, went to the markets and managed not to kill my family - though there were a few close calls. Even mum swam - the water was so beautiful and clear that she could easily tell that there were no sharks or icky things. The week was fairly monotonous. Get up, swim, eat lunch, shop on the main street, swim, have dinner, home again, veg out. Very calm.
By the end of things, i was bored and glad to come home! Even if it meant suffering through dad's ridiculously bad tempered behaviour that always makes an appearance on the way home from holidays. I'm so glad to be home! I have about 16hrs to unpack, and re-pack - because i'm leaving on a road trip along the Great Ocean Road, into Melbourne and over to Phillip Island over the next ten days with Loz. It should be quite an adventure... i'm not entirely sure how smoothly it will go, but only time will tell! After i get back next week, i'll return to regularly scheduled programing.
