Easter!

Last night we had a (massively long) traditional jewish passover meal at church. It was pretty interesting; lots of blackcurrant juice and weird foods. Like parsley dipped in salt water, matza(?) sandwiches and apple/walnut stuff that looked like catfood, pommegranates... but it all tasted pretty good. The food was really yummy and traditional - and complicated! Thankfully our church still has the best cooks. The lemon pie for dessert was to die for. Food, food food.

The dinner went for a little longer than we thought (try 3.5hrs, instead of 1.5) and our table - which included the minister - was getting a little antsy, but we survived. It was quite interesting learning about some jewish passover traditions, especially because dad's family was jewish.

Afterwards, Loz, Hell and i kicked off Easter festivities with a coffee sesh at Maccas - though we had a dreadful run in with a huntsman in the car on the way there that resulted in a speedy escape from the car and a spider removal involving a long stick (go Hell!!). We were falling asleep over our coffees, so bailed by 11... even though Loz and i then spent 2hrs sitting in the car chatting. Opps, so much for an early night!

Church this morning (i hung with the kids instead of sitting in church) and family dinner tonight, minus dad and nick, who are still fishing. I should be studying, but i'd rahter be napping..., Almost time for chocolate!!! Yum...
