Enjoying My New Found Freedom

Saturday night saw all the girls catch up for a friends 19th. It was GREAT to see everyone - we spent a good few hours yakking away (and eating plenty), some of us enjoying our newfound freedom, others of us attempting not to think about the exams that lay awaiting on the following monday. Personally, i found the few hours we spent together almost like being back in year twelve, where everything seemed so much less confusing. Lol, we regressed completely - back to insulting each other (i believe the word 'hussy' was thrown around) and screaming with laughter as we realised that the majority of females around the table had kissed the sleaze. Ew! But i knew it was just like old times when i was greeted with uproarious laughter as Cocksy spilled the beans about my year twelve PAC boy... then my 'type' was discussed at length. Apparently it is scrawny and mean - they then proceeded to illustrate this rather pursuasively :P Lol, they had a point. We were all gone by around half past nine (we're such grandparents). I bailed on going into town, being too tired. But, lovely as always, Briski sought payback in the form of a 3am phonecall from what was quite possibly the loudest club in the entire world!

Today, when i was wandering down King Will and searching for a good birthday pressie for Georgie (HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY!!!!!), i stumbled into Flourish - a cool little shop with random bits and peices. Inside, i found the coolest thing. There was a shelf full of perfume, in all sorts of strange scents. For example, Thunderstorm and Wet Garden and Grass and Banana Flambe... a million different scents. Granted, Thunderstorm smelt like a wet garden and Wet Garden smelt like an overly perfumed flower... but i thought that the idea was really cool. I LOVE the smell of rain and looked for their Rain scent - but they had run out. However, i can't think of anything much cooler.

Now, i'm off to put my beautiful wrapping skills to good use.
