Wednesday was our one-day kids club. With only eight kids, it went very easily. We all went to the pool in the morning and spent two hours splashing, dunking, mucking around... the usual. We got out all lovely and waterlogged. The kids had a ball. We took them back to the church, where they ate popcorn at watched Wall-E or Horton Hears A Who. I watched Wall-E - it was so cute (with an environmental message to boot, which is always a plus). We did crafts, played games, and played a few rounds of 20-20-in; i even won sometimes! The kids were easy, the leaders weren't too annoying and we all survived. It took over an hour to clean up, with half the leaders sitting and watching instead of helping. Gah! Still, it was a good day. More kids would've been nice - but also more work! So all was well. So glad we only had one day though!
