Heads Or Tails

There's something about this time of year. It's meant to be festive, family-oriented, fun. There's a cheery vibe that has to be in the air. Even if you're not quite in the festive mood, that's ok. The simple fact that we have no uni, less work and so much freedom makes it a good time of year... plus the sunny weather!! It's all good. Of course, it's the church's big season, so we're going christmas caroling and have lots on for chrissy eve - it's not a total bludge. But there's fun, and singing, and chrissy drinks, and all sorts of good things. And i get pressies on thursday, yay! I love pressies. Christmas is good.

Meh,
Christmas the pulic holiday that people get off for seeing family. It is a shame it has become so commercial and become the "holidays". I am sorry any Americans, but you are to blame for this.
It is CHRISTMAS, it is a RELIGIOUS celebration! Kind of like Anzac day, to celebrate fallen comrades. Except we are celebrating the birth of Christ.

Pretty sad to see what the world has become.

The only positive thing, as you said, is that we spend time with family. Even if there are people we don't like in our family Christmas seems to make everything just right. Funny that, maybe it has something to do with Christ after all.

Just a thought.
