Day Four: Check.

I spent ten hours at church today. 8am --> 6pm. It was a loooong, and taxing day. Granted, i won brownie points when i brought the SouthAfrican cupcakes and a card for his birthday, but things went downhill from there. There were arguments with parents over buying tee-shirts, fights with leaders over jobs they were meant to be doing, setting up a carnival (which is hard to do when the carnival consists of plastic tables, cardboard games and a dunking machine), keeping kids occupied, stopping child tears... it was all very taxing. Now, my feet hurt from walking in the sun, my undies and bra are wet from the dunking machine and my head hurts from speaking loudly. I made an idiot of myself trying to be the upfront-man in place of the SouthAfrican, and could make lists of all the things i need to improve on for next time. One day, it'd be nice to get everything done right, and not have to make everything better. By the time i left, i was in a reasonably foul mood. Just in time to have dinner with some of our bizzare relatives, and sit down in my room to do homework - because i'm that looser that has no other plans on a thursday night in the holidays. Thankfully, there's only one more day. Wish me luck...
