As we speak (or as i type, and you read), the alarm next door is going off. I'm assuming that it's nothing, and that someone there will turn it off soon. Here's hoping that there isn't actually a burgular, or else you can file me away in the 'horrible person' category.
After another day at uni, i'd love to just go to sleep. However, i also have a drive to be producive. We'll see how that one pans out. Before i can start though, i'll need to finish my blogging and take of my slippers. It's good to have a plan.
Today's whim? I want a pandora bracelet. Have you seen them? They're shiny and silver and you can you get all sorts of pretty little charms to put on them. Initially, i was loath to even consider getting one. Even the most simple bracelet and charm is expensive, but some of them can cost up to $300. Obviously, this is completely ridiculous. A charm bracelet with golden charms worth hundreds of dollars? Can anybody say pretentious? Being, in principle, completely against pretention, i refused to even entertain the notion of buying one. This afternoon, my facebook status said that i was thinking about getting one - and, within hours, i got a wall post from one of the snobbier girls i know and she raved about them.
The thing is, i don't want to buy one because it's a status symbol. I don't one one because everyone else has one. I want one because they're shiny. I want one because you can get charms chaped like penguins and rhinos and there's even one with the faith/hope/charity symbol. They're pretty, and i can collect things for it, which appeals. So i'm thinking of getting one... it just depends on whether i can loosen the purse strings that far.
Well... now's the time when i was supposed to study. But maybe i could just take a little break first...
