Heads Or Tails

I'm setting back into my uni routine of spending hours at the Tav with the SouthAfrican on a tuesday arvo. My favourite bar friend was AWOL, but the others were pleased to see me back and i got a usual round of 'hey, the bar-dude's girlfriend is back' and 'wow, i didn't show this much dedication to my dying father'. We attempted a number of crosswords... and completed none of them. I did have to leave for my lecture - and i didn't understand a word, but that's ok, becuase i had my bar to go back to.

Anyway, i digress. This weeks theme is supply. But the Tav is relevant to that, too; when i got there at 12pm, the bar wasn't open yet and there were a dozen men anxiously milling around outside. The second that the door opened, they swarmed inside and rushed the bar (i felt a little odd; wouldn't want anyone thinking that i was one of the bar-ies!). Talk about supply and demand. The same few people were there all afternoon and kept coming back for more. The SouthAfrican had to keep restocking the shelves, supply was so hard.

I'm glad to be in with the bar groupies. But, when i start knocking back the beers, we'll know my time has passed. Awesome place for now though!
