Brrr, i'd forgotten how freezing adelaide is! In ten short days i'd become complacent, basking in the lovely QLD sunshine. I'm sure i'll adjust soon enough though - i'm looking forward to having conversations with people that aren't my parents!
We spent yesterday driving up and around Cape Tribulation. We walked on the gorgeous beaches (and ran into one of dad's friends... indicating that, while adelaide is tiny, australia isn't that much bigger), visited a dodgy 'ice-cream factory', walked on more beaches and trotted over a boardwalk, while mum fretted about being eaten by a crocodile.
Today was essentially eight hours spent travelling... unfortunately, my poor sinus' didn't stand the height and the pressure too well and i was hurting for a fair bit of the flight - but, now i'm home and cozy in my pjs, so all is well!
Now, one more week of freedom before uni begins... i'd better make the most of it!!
