Against my better judgement (and ignoring the tiredness that was seeping into my bones), i went out again on saturday night. Loz, Bri, some of the other girls and i hit the town - after pre-drinks at Bri's that lasted over two hours. Then, it was off to Swish again. We danced for a little while, before we got a little bored... and everyone other than Bri and myself bailed. Meh, two is a lucky number when it comes to partying!
We hit the Exeter for a few drinks, then went and partied in the Elephant with LozK and the Irishman, who we'd not seen in ages. They always have good music there, so we danced for awhile (they played my Contiki day song - i was stoked!!!). I was in such a good mood, i was bouncing around like a three year old, having so much fun.
Next, we went back to Swish (yep, we'll go with the flow) because Bri and i both had friends there. More dancing ensued. I made new friends, who all thought i was pretty cool - always fun. One Irish guy who'd worked with MTV in London was critiquing my outfit; apparently it was great because it was low cut with a necklace, a good hemline and it was all flippy so it looked good when i danced. I think the by and long of it was that i looked nice. One of the other boys thought that i was english and took a lot of convincing to change his mind. Bri left, and i stayed with the boys for another hour or so (until they turned the lights on and kicked us out...), drinking and dancing and laughing. I've not had so much fun in a long time.
I snoozed in the taxi on the way home. Getting home at 4am definately meant that my plan to have an early night was pretty much blown! But it was 100% worth it - my mouth was sore from smiling, which is a feeling i don't get often enough. I love Swish, it just seems to go hand in hand with fun! I can't wait to go out again...
