Claddagh Ring

I have a ring that i wear everyday. I bought it when i was in Morocco, but it's technically an Irish ring (bizzare, i know). It's a traditional Irish ring, for friendship or a wedding. The ring has two hands, holding a heart, with a crown on top. The hands represent friendship, the heart represents love and the crown represents loyalty. Depending on how you wear the ring conveys the romantic status of the wearer.
The Hands are there for Friendship,
The Heart if there for Love.
For Loyalty throughout the years, the Crown sits up above.

Usually, when the ring is on the right hand, with the heart facing outwards, the wearing is single, but when the heard faces inwards it means the wearer's heart has already been captured. If you wear the ring on your left hand, with the heard facing out, it indicates engagement and when it faces inwards it generally means the wearer is married.

I wear it everyday, i've grown to love it, even though it only cost me about 50 cents! I'm not sure why i'm so attached to it, but i love traditions like that, so i know i'll keep wearing it for a long time to come.
