It's Going To Be A Long Week

Well, i'm exhausted and my long week is only just beginning!

Friday night Angel, English and i played SingStar. I was in such a miserable mood that i refused to go out, have people over or do anything but go and see English, because he's such a gem. Surprisingly, i had a good time and even smiled, so the evening was considered a success - even though it ended at 1am!

My saturday morning swimming shift was trying. I had a bunch of new children in my classes who decided to scream for the entire half hour. I had one in four of six classes! But some of my little darlings were as cute as ever and i got a few cuddles. In the afternoon i had to take a babysitting charge to the airport and get him on his flight, which i did successfully, thank goodness! Then i had to pick up a kid for youth group and then race down to church to set things up. Youth Group was ok - the kids had a great time, but i was both incoherent with fury, shaking because i was upset and laughing at the kids... talk about emotional overdrive!! Afterwards, i had to drop one of the kids home. Then Angel came round and we ended up hanging out until 4am! Oops, so much for an early night...

This morning, mum decided to rob me of my sleep in, so my plan to sleep the day away was shot. Instead, i watched Gilmore Girls DVDs until it was time for church. Most of church was pretty good tonight! I hung out with some of the younger kids and, for the first time, i didn't feel like an outsider. So that was pretty great. Then we set up for youth, LittleM and i managed a hug (we're doing really well at overcoming our whole 'no touching' rule!) and i stumbled home. So exhausted!!

I've got to be at kids club at 7.45am tomorrow... wish me luck for an incredibly long week!!!
