Yr 12 DVD
Finally, almost ten months after i finished year 12, i got home last night to find our yr 12 dvd on the table. Racing upstairs to watch it, i sat there for over two hours... and was rather disapointed at the end.
Not only did all of my appearances make me look entirely hideous (i swear, there wasn't a single decent shot of me, they were all from awful angles on days where i looked absolutely foul - and i'm not exaggerating!), but i'm not even saying normal things! In one shot BigSister and i are arguing over who would win a race at sports day (bathers are NOT a good look... but at least i won!). In another i'm talking about just how much i was dreading the formal. Then there's the back of me in about forty million formal shots... soooo foul. I'm thinking that we should burn every copy of the dvd ever made...
Other than the awfully awful shots of me, the dvd still isn't fantastic. There's not so much editing as there is hours upon hours of compiled footage. Which means that there is an awful lot of crap on there. The music is somewhat random, not really fitting whatever is happening on screen. And there are some people who you see barely anything of. And some people who you see heaps of. There wasn't much on there that was funny/memorable/amazingly great to watch... i've got to say that it was a bit of a let down. I don't know exactly what i was expecting... but i don't think that was it!
Haha, Roz and i have just decided that we'll make our own video, from all of the hours of footage that we took last year. Bet that it'll blow the professional one out of the water!!

haha i got my dvd monday, just before i went into hospital, so when i get back home today, first thing i did was sit down n watch all of it straight through.
i must agree there was lots of randomness, n really, i didnt hav high expectations, i expected it to be really general coz it was just footage from all the few major yr 12 events, but it was cool to remenisce and some things were funny.
dw i either sounded whiney or looked awful everytime im featured on camera.
