Want To Get Your Feet Wet?
As of the moment that the postie visited today, i'm a qualified swimming teacher. It feels like such an accomplishment, even though i suppose it's nothing too special. Still, i like it. I teach little kindergarden kiddies - so adorable!
Teaching can be pretty strange. You get the oddest children. I've got one boy who is way too old to be in the class and is simply bored. But, because he won't swim properly, he can't move up! I've got a little korean girl who has never swum before and doesn't quite get what to do. There is one little boy who doesn't stop screaming once he gets into the water. There's one little boy who is absolutely adorable and a total fish in the water. I've got a Yugoslavian girl with autism. Then there's a little sweedish boy - he doesn't speak a word of english and has no idea what i'm saying, but he's absolutely adorable.
Doesn't sound like anything much, right? But it's a bit of a rush to think that i'm the one who's teaching them how to swim. It's so important! I just hope i can manage it... ah well, i'm sure i'll manage!
Wish me luck!
Annie

just think of it this way, you are partly resposible for less and less children drowning :)
