Thirteen Blogs which deserve attention!
1. THEORY OF THOUGHT
This is THE MOST amazing blog. TheThinker is 16 years old and is an incredible writer. Interesting, vibrant, deep and altogether great. Really, i never run out of good things to say about this girl. I'm actually jealous of how good a writer she is - one day, hopefully, my blog will be as good as hers!
2. SINGLE GIRL IN THE CITY
Another great blog-artist, SingleGirl (soon to be MarriedGirl) talks about Boston life, boys and babies, with blow-jobs and banking thrown in. Everything you can think of she covers, in a fresh, unbiased and generally hilarious way. Check it out!
3. SMASHED-IN
A young girl, enduring the trials and tribulations of junior high, has some great thoughts on the world, expressing them with a youthful vibrance that us oldies often just can't capture :P All her thoughts on friendship, school and life in general make for interesting reading.
4. SKITTLES PLACE
I am astounded with the regularity and devotion with which Skittles posts! Each and every tidbit, no matter how small, just shows how much she loves her blog. I'm also really proud? I don't know if that's the right word. Maybe just happy for her? About the way she is looking after herself and her health - and getting much better! Go Skittles! Check it out for sure, a few times a day even - threre's always something new.
5. WAITER RANT
An insight into the life of a waiter. An interesting idea, one that's not common on the blogosphere. This waiter manages to keep his blog interesting and entertaining, with his stories from the restaurant. Keep a look out for this guy - he's writing a book!
6. A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY HOME
A regular girl who has 'adopted' her younger sister and her journey through life as a single parent with her friends and boyfriends as her supports and her family as the inevitable thorn in her side. Sound interesting? Just wait until you start reading - you'll be hooked. A well-written and enticing blog.
7. THE GROWN-UPS WANTED US DEAD!
A hilarious look at the adventures of a woman from her childhood. Side-splittingly funny, easy to relate to and written with a flair that just makes you feel comfortable with her words. Definateyl a must-see.
8. BESTEST BLOGS OF ALL TIME
A compilation blog of all the wicked bloggers and their works out there. This place is a MUST-SEE for anyone looking for something good to read. New and fantastic blogs appear on Billy's blog everyday, so make yourself a regular. Submit yourself for review!
9. IT'S RAINING NOODLES
The Disclaimer says it all; This blog is not safe for children, not safe for work, and not safe for sanity. Blame the weather. It's raining noodles! Hilarious. Completely and utterly.
10. MY LIFE AS A CLANDESTIME CALL-GIRL
A really interesting blog, it's personal and definately unique. Not tacky in any way, Call-Girl is a savvy woman with plenty of interesting stuff to say.
11. KEN AND ARIEL
A boy and girl have teamed up to bring you the world through the eyes of what are pretty much paralell viewpoints. Cheery, good for a laugh and basically just all around good fun - take a look.
12. BITE ME, I TASTE LIKE SKITTLES
The name gives you a hint, hey. Mix twenty-something angst with single life and a busy schedule and this is what you get - with good writing and a good laugh.
13. BLIND CAVEFISH
With a title like Blind Cavefish, Jess from NY is obviously a little bit of a wild card. Check out her blog for the goss off the streets of the big apple. Stop by to hear the day-to-day in a way that's anything but dull.
