Random Party

Last Minute Plans

In order to babysit on Saturday night, i blew off a party for a random's 19th. However, after i finished sitting, i got a call from the girls, asking me to come. So, i did :P

I rocked up and went inside to find a few very drunk teenagers playing 'remier. It seems i got there just as things were getting interesting, because i was just in time to see the guys doing shotguns shirtless 'so that they wouldn't make a mess' and another two boys in zooties run alarmingly fast through the house and jump into the pool. Seconds later, St Patrick (so dubbed because his name was Patrick and he was from ireland and it was St. Patrick's day!) emerged with blood running down his face. Apparently he's nearly hit his head on the bottom, so he'd braced and managed to split the skin on his forehead anyway. We packed him off into the bathroom to get fixed up.

Meanwhile, the rest of us were getting ready to leave. St Paddy, unfortunately, wasn't in any condition for conversation, which is a pity, because he said i was hot and that could've ended interestingly - if not for the blood and the fact that i wasn't drinking much because i was driving. Ahh, the inconvenience of bad timing (hehe, this reminds me of the fact that The Hot South African - not to be confused with the South African - thought i was hot too. Love that boy!). On the way out, i met Tomo, the guy who's house it was. He seemed nice - and not at all phased by the fact that there were a number of complete randoms in his house! George, the Chief and i hung around outside for awhile while they waited for a taxi, and then i headed home.

On the whole, i was really glad i went, even if just for an hour or so. Nice people, a chance to see Bri, Vivs, LozK and George, a little 'remier - fun times! Anyway, must dash - off to study... or at least off to bed. I've got swimming classes in the morning - by the way, i passed my assessment and am now a qualified AustSwim teacher! Yay!
