This Week...

Trouble Ahead!

With the ever-present threat of Wednesdays results looming, we were doing all we could to distract ourselvs. What a joke, like we were going to forget that the entire year had built up to the one second when we opened that envelope... That didn't stop us from trying though.

Monday night had us playing Rock&Roll Singstar. With the boys (attempting to) rock out to Coldplay, Powderfinger and goodness knows who else, we girls sat back and had a good laugh. With them, not at them of course! :P Guess what? MrMusic beat me three times out of four - did a good turn to his ego and gave everyone a good laugh at my expense, as is so often the case these days :P Gotta say though, normal singstar beats Rock&Roll Singstar anyday!

Tuesday morning had us all up bright and early for a trip to the beach. Sunshine! The usual slew of incidents ensued; Ray and i ventured out to the break line, only to reach them, be stopped by a Lifeguard who was worried about us having a run in with sharks and returned to shore. But hey, we'd swum out there! It's about 600m (about 300m further than we thought it'd be :P) but our waterpolo training of yore must've stayed with us a little because we managed to breastroke out there without too much trouble, yakking all the while. Lol, that was out little adventure. Meanwhile, the others had, at the insistance of Roz and MrMusic, taken a trip to the BeachHouse. Their report? The new slides rock and they're only $2! Some Boost, a little sunburn and one of our usual rought and tumble games of marks up later (you know, the ones where we look like boys and fall all over ourselves to get the ball) and it was time to go home.

Loz and i went off for coffee with TheLibrarian (as she wishes to be dubbed). We caught up on all of the gossip and heard all the news from her new job as a 'Professional ChildMinder' - it sounds fantastic, she works with youth services. We sat in the BWC, hysterically laughing at her tales of her trainee, Azza, and her uptight boss, MonkeyAss. Lol, it sounds to us that you might get along with him better if you just let him keep the damn camera hun :P

A cold chocolate, diet coke and frappe later, the BWC was a few dollars richer and Loz and i grabbed Sophocles, Noodle and LozK to see the new Bond movie, Casino Royale. It was fantastic! I LOVED the theme song (which is rather irrelevant to the overall quality of the movie i suppose) but the rest of the movie was great too. I don't think all of the people that whinged about his being blonde new what they were talking about - he was just as hot/good/Bond-like as every other Bond has been! I liked the way that it explained so much about how James Bond became who he is in all of the other movies. I like all the details :)

Now to settle in for the wait - the letters have been posted, all we need is the delivery! I'm not too stressed. I think that i can just wait for the postman, the net will be all clogged up anyway. I'll let you know how it goes!

Bond was indeed awesome mmmm daniel craig is one fine piece of ass, i'd tap that any day, he's got that bond look even tho he is blonde, but seriously its not like he's platinum blonde or anything, his hair is almost brown in some light... :P my mantra: who gives a fuck, hes HOT :)

oh and my other mantra: who gives a fuck if we were acting like 12 year old boys playing marks up at the beach, we enjoyed ourselves hehe
