Terrorising Town :P

When Friends Call...

I'm home alone on friday afternoon when dear old George calls, needing a favour. After an unfortunate involving a horse, a refusal and i collision with a jump wing, she needed a lift into town to get a pressie for the AvocardoFreak. While i'd already got one, i was more than willing to accomodate.

From the word go it was destined to be an amusing trip. George couldn't turn her head so we were driving extra slow so as not to cause further injury. After a few hours traipsing around town to find the 'perfect gift', we were tired and sleepy. After a run in at Boost where a scary serving dudette we were somehow talked into huge drinks. Not long after that we could be seen loitering near the enormous sand sculpture in the middle of Rundle Mall - complete with smoky thing AND water fountain! - in ABSOLUTE hysterics. You see, for some reason, the phrase 'ick on toast' had come up. We were stumbling along, holding each other up, tears streaming down our faces, imagining various people actually being on toast. It was NOT pretty. I was rather repulsed. Lol, but it really was hilarious.

Coming down from that little high, we entered Haighs. Preparing to leave, we were holding onto our customary free treats. However, then i, in my usual way, caused the 'incident'. First, i dropped my choccie. When George and i bent down to pick it up we smashed heads, me loosing my sunnies. Practically on the ground with laughter, we were surrounded by other customers, also laughing at the two clowns in the middle of the store. Finally, crying with laughter, clever old George grabbed the sunnies and all the choccies (she'd dropped all of hers too) and we hightailed it out of there. I think we officially became the insane people in the mall that day...

Eventually we made it out of town, got to the car and went to get some $$$ for the ticket... only to find that we had none! Damn it, we had to leave, get to an ATM and then return to the car. So now you have a grumpy and tired George and Annie, who have been in town for hours and it's now 8pm. But we did FINALLY make it home!

Lol, it was quite the hilarious adventure. So, naturally i had to share :P

Bye for now!
