Once In Royal David City...

...A Random Girl Ended Up With An Alto Line :D

Music wise, 2006 has been a pretty good year. I've got the music team at church, which is always an interesting experience. Then there's the Annesley band, which is much more fun. Plus there's our Youth Band, which is pretty much just hilarious because one of the ShirtlessBuddies and his little brother (who looks like Ringo from the Beatles with his haircut) are incredibly enthusiastic and they put me on bass guitar last time, which was incredibly amusing. Plus, there're singing lessons, ChanterElle - which rocks, especially because we sound so great :P - and now i have my guitar! On top of that i got my little solo bit in Go Down Moses.

What brought this on? Well, this morning i was staying to support Ray in her audition for the solo in Once In Royal David City for the Christmas Concert tomorrow and i got roped into joining her. Eventually, she, another girl and i all got picked and we're going to sing is as a trio! I get the alto part (because i suck at high notes :P). Yay! I'm very excited. Although i make no gaurantees about how well it'll go. That said, George dudie, sooo bummed that you left early :( Don't be sad, ok? Please? Only two more school event and we're done!

So this year has been good music wise and next year, with my guitar and church stuff and Ray and my 'band' :P it should be just as good. Plus, we ex-ChanterElle girls might start our choir, which'd be totally awesome.
