More Random Items To Ponder...

Clearing Out My List...

Whenever somebody tells me something that i 'absolutely HAVE to blog about', it goes on 'the list'. Some of the things on there aren't worth a whole bloggie, so i'll shove some in here! Lucky you :P

Denial Is A River In Egypt

Who knows the denial river? It's most commonly seen flowing rapidy through the mind of a female who refuses to admit a certain fondness for a dude out in the big bad world. Generally in a last-bid attempt to dissuade your buds from deciding that you like some guy... most often completely in-effective... but always worth a try! So next time you're wanting out, just grab that paddle and get moving down that river!

The 'Ducks Theory'

The 'ducks theory' is a newly developed one, relating to the theory of liking more than one person at once. According to the theory, a girl or a guy can like about three people. Therefore, she is a 'duck' for each of these guys, trailing along behind him like a duckling follows it's mother. At the same time, girls have ducks (or ducklings i guess) trailing along behind them - the guys that like them. Most people have around three ducks behind them at once, ranked in order of whom the 'mother duck' likes best. Simple? Yep. So, next time you're being 'subtle' (or trying to piss off mates who will have no clue what you're talking about), just go on about your 'biggest duckling' - aka the guy you like most - or how you're someone's 17th duck - as in, you don't even get onto their radar...

" Honestly, if that man is eating babies to stay looking that good, then by God, let him eat his babies in peace. As long as he stays hot."

Ok, quite simply just the funniest quote i've heard in awhile and i say it holds a nugget of truth!

Why The Bitches Get The Guys

It's an age old wonder; why do the evil cows get the nice guys? Can they just not tell? Or do they like the mean streak? Or is it just easier? Personally, i'm going with option three. See, what i think is that the mean girls are sooooo much lower maintenence. We (and i'll include myself here... correct me if i'm being presumptuous) nicer gals have higher expectations, better - but tricker - personalities and actually require a guy with a brain. Guys don't have that kind of patience! So they go for the bitch... at least, that's the theory i'd like to stick with, rather than them just going for the nasty ones because they don't know any better! :P

Sometimes I'm The Voice Of Reason; Sometimes I'm Irrational - PICK!

You children call me the voice of reason when i'm helping solve one of your (numerous) problems :P but then you'll turn around and call me irrational! So, pick one; which is it?!? Because you're being contradictory and i want to know... because if i'm anything, i know that i'm waaaay too curious!

The Joy Of Nicknames

I love nicknames - giving them, having them, whatever. I have millions; annie, anna, bella, ba (my little bro couldn't say annabel so...), bubbles - thanks dad {not even going in to what some of his other nicknames were...}, annieabell - that's ali - ,ding - hanus - and krantsky (NOT my fav...) just to name a few. But, along with my many nicknames, i love other people's too - it just makes them seem like much comfier friends somehow, don't you think? Rosie became Roz, Ali became Albert (or Alibibble), Eleni became Len (or Lanyard), Rachel is Ray (or was it Smee?) and Georgie became Porky/Hani/Hanlet... Lol, i love my nicknames :P

Thru-ly...

One of my little Sporting Buddy's finest moments... she convinced herself that the word 'thoroughly' was pronounced 'thru-ly'. As in; 'wash it out thru-ly'... a terribly blonde moment, which i decided i would share with you!

Strange Eating Habits

This is Bria's (Bri, Bree, Breski, Brian.... :P) latest little addition to the blog... she has carried out experiments and discovered that, as the amount of study you do increases, as does the amount of grazing you do - it's apparently exponential. Her proof? She was reduced to eating a paperclip when nothing more sustainable was to be found...

Parental Know-It-All's...

For my last mini-point, i leave you with a question; Why is it that parents think they know everythink about their kids? You know what i mean - despite the obvious changes in society, they refuse to belive that things have changed in the slightest and still tell you all about how things were in 'their day', and tell you they understand... when they obviously dont... WHY? (WHY Cassy, WHY?!?) Can anyone tell me?

And so i leave you with my words for ye to ponder until my return...

Bonne Nuit!

I tend to disagree with the comment about bitchy girls getting the guys. I mean, I seem to have four or five guys like me at a time, and all i have to do is be nice and smile at them, then they seem to run after me, and try and kiss me. See being nice and upfront is they way to get the guy, not bitchy. Oh yeah, and to be really good looking

Lol, ok, fair enough, i'll revise -- you don't have to be a bitch, so long as you're 'really good looking' :P

I totally agree with anonymous. I am not bitchy at all and have got myself in a position where loads of guys like me. All i did was sleep with my best friends boyfriend and now him and all his footy friends really like me. Bitchyness is so 1997. Luv ya.
