I'm fricking pissed off at the tendency of certain people to have absolutely no consideration for the plans and feelings of others. So, instead of sitting here ranting and stewing on my blog, i'm going to talk about something good - like last night.
Last night was Mr.Music's bday dinner. We 'surprised' him by all bringing different dishes and having a huge feast; it really was a feast, as all of us cooked for about 10... lots of food. To start with, there were just six of us (tw more came along later). As usual, i felt the age difference keenly, so was pretty quiet, but it was still lots of fun. MarriedMan was there and he's always an absolute legend. We talked dinosaurs, time travel, the new Hobbit movie, classic movies... actually, we were a little random on our topic choices! I had a really good time hanging out with them.
I had to bail early to finish a stupid assignment (which kept me up until 1.30am, and i didn't get to sleep until 3am...), which Mr.Music handed in for me this morning - he's a saviour! - while i was doing a fill-in at stateswim. But a late night studying after a good night out is so much better than a late night studying after a long evening studying... yay!
