Other Tidbits You Might Like To Know...

The other day, Miha and i were having a ridiculous conversation in the car. She asked that, should a car drive onto the wrong side of the road and be coming straight for us, would i prefer that i drove off the road and into a tree, hit the car head on or veer to the other side of the road. After a lot of discussion, we decided that plan A would be to swerve onto the other side of the road. However, if there was a car coming in the other lane, we'd hit the tree. Our logic? We might not get hit at all... otherwise the passengerside at least is possibly going to survive; Miha didn't wan't to live with the guilt of killing me! It was a truly bizzare conversation... but it's always good to have a contingency plan!

On sunday night i had to go to a friends birthday drinks. All the while, the cute guy in the red tee on the other side of the bar was doing the 'eye-contact' thing with me (i know, it was so wild, practically impregnating). When we left, he called out 'where are you going?!' and, shy and retarded as we have a proclivity to be, we replied 'home...' and scampered out of there. We were on our way to the car when he called out to us - he'd followed us outside. His opening line was 'i couldn't let you go without at least learning your name,' and a very awkward coversation ensued. My opening line was a brilliant observation about his not wearing shoes. His name was Marlin. It was his birthday. Eventually, awkward conversation petered out and he let us go (not before one of the bartenders yelled out to us that if we didn't go for Marlin, then he would). As we were driving out of the carpark, he stepped in front of the car and motioned for us to wind down the windows. After Loz nearly chopped his head off with the auto-windows, he leant in... 'would it be wrong to ask for your bumber?' Suffice to say, he left with my number. After all that effort - trust me, it wasn't too easy for him - i didn't hear from him. But still, it was fun.

Other thing? The precious ring that i lost on saturday during my horrible night out? I rang the Cumberland to ask if they'd found it - after having spent the previous two nights praying to God that it would be found. On wednesday, i got the call; they'd found it!! I was so stoked. I went to pick it up that afternoon and i was so THRILLED to get it back!! Such small odds. Woo!!
