Yesterday involved me sleeping very late. Then waking up and getting dressed. And then forcing my mother to take me shopping because i had nothing to wear. I picked up my car from Bri's. Then i zooooomed off to church.
We had band practice, which was fun, cos MarriedMan, Naya and i always get the giggles. And we sung 'the hard song' right. And when it came time to sing the new song we leant (and had completely forgotten by the time if got to the service), we successfully made up a whole new tune on the spot, between the three of us. Talent. And the SouthAfrican's parents said they love hearing me sing - they're lovely.
The SouthAfrican's brother is home for chrissy and it was good to catch up with him. MarriedMan, in an attempt to be hilarious, tipped water all over me. And, so i could win a bet against English and the SouthAfrican, i put an entire muffin in my mouth and swallow it without opening my mouth. It was tricky - but i did it. Proved them wrong... i really need to learn to be able to ignore a dare!! (and yes, you predicted rightly that this anecdote would end up on the blog). But it was amusing. Plus, i was wearing my new top, which made all things good, because i love it.
I had to get changed into a dress (i still don't really like dresses, so this was an ick moment) and whizz off to chrissy drinks with the girls, which was good... until around 10pm when i was practically falling asleep on the table, so i left.
It was a good day to follow a good night.
