Our plan? To get up early and hit the sales beforethe crowds. The actuality? I had to clean my room, and Loz had to sleep... but we left at 12.15pm, so it could have been worse! We got to marion and literally spent half an hour driving around looking for a park before the Car-ma fairy smiled at me and rewarded us for not stealing parks from other people and gave us our own park.
Three hours later, we were shopped out - no hard task, seeing as i don't particularly like shopping, and trying on clothes that don't fit (especially when in the company of those who fit everything) tends to put me on the edge. But some useful things were procured! We had plenty of new, cheap jewellery from Diva, random crap from places like Priceline and new shoes that were on sale. Possibly a few other things were bought. And pretzels for lunch, with Boost juice for a chaser. All was good. Tired, we headed home...
...and from there, i headed to Borders. Nothing is more soothing than spending time in a bookshop. In no time at all (try, about an hour and a half), i'd perused the shop and spent all of my Christmas money. Oopsie! But also yay.
Apart from spending too much money (always a risk when shopping), all was reasonably well in the world.
