This week's theme? Black *OR* White... ever indecisive, i'm talking about both, not one. Which is fairly sensible, in my book, as the world has clearly indicated that nothing is either one or the other. Despite how things may seem, nothing is ever without it's silver lining, or without it's shadow of gloom. Everything just becomes a shade of grey and the only question lies in how murky or how clear that grey is.
I'm not being dismal, really. There are times when things can be almost perfect. But one shouldn't suffer under the delusion that anything can be 100% white and sparkly. That'd just be setting yourself up for disapointment! The best things happen when you least expect them to. It works the other way too; nothing is every completely black, there's always that glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. When you reach a certain point, the only way to go is up.
So it's true that there really is no black or white. It's all a middle ground.
Well, this is a little heavy for a tuesday morning... i could have easily talked about zebras. Or maybe my black and white-type assignment that i have to hand in this afternoon. Or the black and white penguin on my awesome new tee-shirt that has brought sunshine in my life. Or this morning's newspaper that i've never read? I'm sure there are plenty of black and white things in the world. But i, as always, prefer the existential theory of good and evil in the world.

I like your take on the prompt. To me, we always need to know the black or white side, and then find a shade somewhere inbetween.
So, you like penguins? So do I.
Happy HoT day.
Love the take on the prompt this week, you are so right and a cute penguin shirt in the mix, you got it good :)

im always racking my brain on tuesdays!!
Despite me posting about how I see the black and white and seldom find the gray, after reading your post, I think I see what you mean.. and maybe I do think that way sometimes after all.
