Long Week

This week was officially the first week of the 'non-teaching period' - our supposed break from uni. However, i have spent the better part of this week working on an assignment that has been harder than any i've ever had to navigate before. Not only did the lecturer give unclear instructions that confused us all to no end, but she refused to give us any constructive help this week. Everyone i know from my course is stressed beyond belief, and i've been up until 2am every night this week to get it finished. I wouldn't be at all surpised if the lecturer recieved some serious hate mail this week! When i handed the blasted thing up this morning, it was a huge relief.

However, week one of the holidays is now over. And, in week two, i have to run kids club. So it looks like minimum sleep and maximum stress this holidays. Not only do i have a bunch more assignments to complete before the first week back, but i also have to try and get through kids club unscathed (although i've already discovered that there has been ANOTHER mix up with the tee-shirts, and i'm less than thrilled...).

What else have i done this week? Well, i did take some time out to see Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging with Ayles, which was hilarious - and the english lead guy was cute. Definately reccommended for anyone wanting to avoid study for an hour and a half! I also got in trouble at work again, because we all know that i can do nothing right. Correcting, or thinking about correcting, all of my latest mistakes was lots of fun. Just when i thought that maybe some areas of my life might start uncomplicating... wishful thinking!

Now? I have a kids club meeting, and have to take a bunch of kids to see some movie tonight. Chaperone Annabel. It's a role i play well, apparently; plus, i have a licence, and am therefore useful. Ok, well, must dash - i have lucky dips to wrap, fliers to make and a running sheet to produce for this meeting!!

I must say, i'm actually looking forward to uni being back in session... how sad.
