Semester 2 Law Pub Crawl on friday night, woo!! Here's what went down...
We hit up the Duke, Swish, the London Tav and the Bull & Bear in our gorgeous bright red tees. 200 law students drinking and dancing makes for quite a sight, wandering through town, hollering at each other and having a ball. Unlike some, we law-types opt for the comfort zone when dressing for pub crawls, so there was no worrying about high heels and slinky skirts as we let our hair down on the last day of holidays.
Points to note: There was a bizzare little bald man in a suit wandering around all night - and nobody knew who he was! Ayles and i spent the walks between each pub singing 'aaaa boom boom bom, let me hear you say ay-oh... AY-OH!' and making the 'i don't like sandcastles' face, because we are oh-so-cool.
At the end of the night, Ayles, Tiny Tim, myself and some other guy (who rides horses for Australia and you could colour-me-impressed!) found ourselves standing outside of the B&B. After spending a half hour trying to decide whether we'd go home or go on, a bizzare man in a tracksuit came up to us and offerend to hail us a taxi. Transfixed by this odd little man who was prancing around the street infront of taxis, it was all we could do to watch as he lay himself down on the tram tracks when he was the street sweeper coming. Someone yelled out that street sweepers didn't stop, so i was cringing in fear when, thankfully, the street sweeper came to a halt a mere metre in front of him. Phew! We ran away when he started to follow us. Creepy.
As is often common after a night out, we ended up in Maccas before negotiating a creepy taxi driver on the way home. Bed by half 2, it wasn't an incredibly late or an incredibly expensive night, seeing as the boys paid for the taxi.
It was good fun, despite boyfriends and inappropriate men playing too large of a role. But what can you do? I'll take what i can get. Six months until the repeat! WOO!
