All The Small Things

I spent a half an hour today hanging over the edge of BabyBoy's (little brother to my darling Bobby) little bassinet thingy. Now that he's a little bigger, i'm not afriad of breaking him. He's getting so big - his head is huge and round, and when he stretches out his neck he looks like an adorable E.T. He's very cute. I was hanging over his bassinet, tickling his tummy and his cheeks, and in return i was gifted lots of big, gorgeous baby smiles. Big, gorgeous baby smiles that made all of the bad things in the world go away and made it sing with sunshine. It's amazing the power that babies hold.

Yesterday, at Panda Playgroup, the babies flocked to me. I had one on each knee, eating my lunch. I had one on my hip, commanding me to take me to his car and giving me a kiss on the cheek. I had one run over to me, pull me down to his level and give me a lick on the cheek (it's a love thing). I had one joyfully call 'Annabel!' when he saw me walk around the corner. Babies fill the world with happiness and goodness and all things light and cheery. They're perfect.
