Uni today ended with just a little bit of crazy. My constitutional law group was so exhausted that we were on overdrive, we couldn't shut up... unfortunately, we couldn't direct any of our attention towards the problem we were meant to be solving. So, we stopped trying.
Instead, we discussed the theory that the women in our class who leave too much of themselves hanging out of their clothes do so because they're ovulating. I know. One of the boys came up with the theory (a mature age!), and all of us girls just laughed him down. Apparently, he thinks that women are more amourous when ovulating. Crazy.
Then, we moved on to horror-spider stories. Creepy, creepy, creepy. One of the girls said that spiders eat the sleep from your eyes when you're sleeping! I was terrified beyond belief at that, the three of us girls were shuddering. Ewwww...
Eventually, we gave up! As you can see, we weren't getting anywhere!
Anther random thought to share? After singing at church on sunday, a bunch of people came up to me and said that i'd done a good job. One of the older men told me that i sung just like Art Garfunkel. With no idea who that was, he explained that the guy was a really good singer, who would just walk onto the stage, hook his hand in his pocket, open his mouth and let loose with a beautiful sound. I think it's a compliment, so i'm happy with that!
ife is still more complicated than i would like. I don't think it's meant to be quite as complicated as it is, but that will surely be better one day. And until then, days with randomness like today, that can make me smile, or make me laugh, make things easier. Maybe the randomness will come more often. And then maybe one day the randomness that makes me smile will be more frequent than the things that complicate my life. All will be well.
