So, lots can happen in a day. Here's the rundown and the thoughts of the day... well, at least some of them...
The Ashford Hospital is a maze, and finding your way to the medical centre will cause your mother to stress about being late at such a high pitch that it will wake me up before a sensible hour (remember - i don't function until after lunch, so 8am appointments are cruel). Furthermore, Doctors who try to present displeasing news with an upbeat smile and a 'don't worry about it yet' are idiots. If you want another example of how tiny Adelaide is, try the fact that the doctors office i went into was also the office of the parents of two of my friends. What are he chances. It sucks when you can't even show emotion because you don't like being emotional infront of your mother - it just seems wrong.
Uni is so much more fun when you have friends there. Today, there were about five people who came up to talk to me! I had friends to talk about my assignment with, people to sit with, people who noticed that my hair was straight instead of curly... It made me laugh when Felix-the-Cat asked 'what's different'? As if my lack of my usual crazy curls wasn't noticeable. Boys are hopeless.
I had an awesome foccaccia today, that was drool-inducing. I had coffee with a friend i've not spoken to in awhile, which was fantastic.
Another thing. I found out something today, which changed my perspective on some things. I don't know how i feel about that.
