So i'm meant to be talking about direction - i could talk about my ability to find my way around, based on just a feel for where i'm going (ok, so it's not 100% accurate, but it works for the most part). Or i could talk about the way that i am partly convinced that if you swim out from Glenelg you will eventually reach Antarctica; in actual fact, you'll just reach the other side of the South Aussie coast. Some of the other Bloggers have posted about the direction that their blogs have taken, but i think it's clear that this blog has no direction other than to be a constant outlet for whatever random thought may enter my head.
I was going to talk about direction in the bigger sense - what direction is my life taking? But honestly, i have no idea; i don't know what i want to do in life, at uni, at work... i think that it is safe to say that, in my life, i really have no idea what direction i'm headed in.
Maybe this should bother me. But i've decided that not having any direction is just like going for a drive, without a map, and not knowing where i'll end up. If i don't like where i've ended up, i can probably find my way back to the beginning. But i think i'd rather just keep driving and, surely, eventually, the scenery is bound to improve.
It's been a good week this week; nothing much has happened, but, more often than not, i realise that i've got a little smile on my face and feel relatively calm. Granted, i've got three assignments due in a week that i've not started and have no idea what direction to take on them and that's enough to stress the living daylights out of me! But it hasn't (yet). So, with any luck, this means that the direction my life has taken is one that stops me from completely falling to pieces with the stress of it all... no doubt i'll keep you posted.

wish you good luck for your assignments...
Will you visit mine Thanks
Great post. Good luck.
I love the paragraph where you compare life to going for a drive without a map. Wonderful comparison. :)
I think the one thing I've learned about life is that the direction changes quite often - small and large changes, but always on the move! Nice post!
How funny, I love going for drives without using maps and just ending up whereever I end up. But for life, I have to have plans and goals and stuff. Interesting post!
Happy HoT!! :)
Hope your assignments go well.
I know the stress of assignments - that's why I decided to change direction and give myself a little slack before I burned myself out.
Sometimes, just living life is the 'perfect' direction. I think sometimes if you try too hard to define what direction you 'have' to go in, you may pass up an opportunity for a whole new direction that may actually be better for you.
