Bits & Pieces

When you say nothing at all...

Ready for one of those posts where i dance around and say very little but still manage to ramble on for awhile? I think they're my special talent.

UNI
I survived another day, bonded with Felix over our mutual lack of knowledge in Torts (the subject from hell by the way) and managed not to look like a total idiot through my classes, as well as avoiding a lunch alone! A monumental achievement. I'm proud :D

MY MOTHER
Well, she's an enigma, that's for sure. Instead of most usual mothers, she's encouraging me to ditch uni work and go to choir instead... i swear it's just not normal! Plus, i think she's concocted a small fantasy world, in which my uni life is one where i'm quite the socialite. Lol, and for Pete's sake, i didn't know it was possible for her to mention someone's name more often in one night; 'how was lunch with him today?', 'i'm sure he's loving being a shoulder for you to lean on', 'he obviously values your friendship', 'can't you just call him and see if he'll help?', 'does he want to come over for tea?' or something to that effect. It's insane. I swear, it's just not normal. She's driving me NUTS. Geez, woman, lay off.

80s BOX SETS
I'm addicted. Again. To 'Party of Five' and 'Melrose Place'! Random? Totally. But Roz tends to go for the unusual. And now i'm totally hooked! Scott Wolf (Bailey) is totally gorgeous. I never quite noticed exactly how ridiculous looking some of the 80s fashions were! The high waists, incredibly strange bathing suits and generally unusual outifits. I'm loving it! Only problem? Now i'm dying for season two!

FHP
They're back - and they're thinking of making a cd! Isn't that cool? They're the only band i know. So i think it's pretty fantastic. Even if they're pretty much disbanding in a few months while they all jet off overseas... but still, their demo might be picked up and that would be wicked.

HOODIES
I don't know what it is. For everyone it's something different; something different that makes you prick up your ears, that gives that little spark to your eye and that kick to your step. For some, it's a guys clothes. Or their feet. Or their talents. Or their laugh. Or their smile. Personally? Their smell. Their hands. Their eyes. Or a hoodie. Chuck a guy in a hoodie and i'm a goner :P Remember the days of horse-boy? His hoodie was a definate plus. I guess it just proves it; each to her own. It's the same with guys, they all like something different (and no, the only options aren't ass and chest). I know one guy who decided he'd never like a girl with thighs bigger than his - he got kicked for that one. For some guys, it's something as ridiculous as the colour she paints her toenails. Strange. I guess you never really can tell what's going to catch your eye.

PHOTOS
Yes, it's true. My photo albums are definate proof that i can be anal. But so what? I DON'T CARE. Doesn't everyone come to me when they want photos? Yes! Don't people sit on the floor of my room and pour over photos they've looked at a million times before? Yes! Tonight i got a call, someone desparately seeking photos from my collection; the third this month. Lol, i'm in demand. For now, i'm off to label my India pictures, fresh from the shops. The 'India: Wall of Shame' really does us all proud. Lol, or maybe it just makes us all look ridiculous :P

Ok, off to watch Melrose and do my Psych noting... and maybe my Public Law assignment... and my Legal Method module... and then work in the morning... GAH! I want sleep! I guess the best way to get it would be to get off the blog :P

Nite all!

Okay, you can't make me older than I am. Melrose came out in 92' and Party of Five was 94'. So technically they are not 80s shows. But yeah I agree, we did dress kinda funny didn't we? I loved Party of Five, some cable stations are starting to run it again, so I've been right into it.
