Freedom Lives
Ok, so Orientation starts next week and i'm assuming that at some point after that Uni will actually start. However, until then, the shackles of higher education are buried in my cupboard and freedom is what it's all about. Which we've been aptly demonstrating with out incessant partying and having all the fun :P
Last friday was quite the event for all of us ex-walford girlies. We had a party that wasn't only people from Saints and Walford! It was incredibly exciting... ok, it wasn't exactly. But it was still lots of fun. You know, meeting new people can be amusing. You've got the usuals for actual conversation but the newies provide that something new we all look for. There are the strange little people who spend the night pretending to be English and desparately trying to convince me as such (i think he was trying it out as a sort of extended pick up line), and their friends who walk around kissing nearly everyone they talk to with any excuse they can think of! Now, these two boys were perfectly nice and now we're... well, friends probably isn't the right word, but well-aquainted could work. So was the night a success? In that respect, i'm thinking yes.
However, along with the good there always comes the bad. Some people just never know their limits. Now, this isn't a bad trait necessarily. It can be difficult to know when enough is enough. This party demonstrated. Alcohol isn't a toy people! If your friends are trying to say 'you've had enough' - actually, if they're bluntly telling you 'you've had enough' and trying to wrestle drinks from your hands - then it isn't the worst idea in the world to listen to them!! They've got your best interests at heart. Then, when they're desparately wanting you to get into a taxi so you can all go home, clinging to some guy you picked up (who, by the way, was *this* close to being off-limits because you knew a friend who was gunning for him) and begging to be taken home with him, generally makes an enormous fuss and bother. When you finally DO get you home, the general shitty-ness and yelling doesn't help the fact that there's only one bed and only so many clothes to go around. However, brownie points can be scored when you take the floor and let your friend and the boy who's house they've crashed at have the bed. And the majority of the clothes. So all is well. All is well! In the end, the night worked out ok. Good times.
Of course, keeping in the spirit of the freedom-enjoying, there was another party on saturday night which was also good fun. Naturally, we ended up at someone's house afterwards because we're incapable of staying in one place :P However, it's very difficult to use trial and error to find addresses in Dulwich. I suggest calling and asking for directions. With one final transfer of location, Noodle and i went to Bass' and watched 'Zoolander' with a little nightcap and a few handfuls of dry cereal. Typical random night. Although, as usual, i managed to guess how the night would end. I must say, i was spot on. Unfortunately. But who needs to delve into that.
After Bass drove me back to my car at Colv's, i was an incredibly tired but reasonably content littlun. So, that's the rundown from this weekend. Next party? Our Anti-Valentine's Party on Wednesday. We've decided to go against tradition on this stupid Hallmark holiday. Pah.
Until the next time!

Thank you. Your blog post really inspired me. I realise that I have been living life as a woman in a man's body for most of my life now. For much of my life I have really felt a desire to wear women's clothing and make-up, and to pamper myself as such. So, thanks to your words of wisdom I have decided to tell my parents tonight how I feel. I will tell them that I want to have breasts and to live as I should be. I'll keep you posted with how it goes!!! Thank you again, please keep writing!
