Three Stooges Let Loose...
So who are the three stooges? Well, this time, they were myself, ailie and kate. On saturday night, we hit youth group where i made quite the fool of myself in a little debate (thanks benj :P) before we planned to see 'lakehouse' at 9.oo. Seems simple, hey. But, being us, we managed to make things quite... well, interesting. We were runnning late and rocked up at the Academy at 9.15. Unable to find a park, i stopped in the middle of the road while we decided to ditch the movie and find something else to do. Unfortunately, we didn't actually have anything else to do! Eventually, we ended up an Maccas (the one up by the Arkaba?) for tea... before deciding we actually wanted Hungry Jacks so we drove all the way back down to cross roads. :P Very fuel efficient, we know. All the while, we were laughing hysterically - and kate was experimenting to see if she could put her feet behind her head whilst in the front seat (she can't). Then came our dilemma; we didn't actually have anywhere to go to eat our 'wh-hoppers' (yes, we did scare the woman at the drivethrough).
We were driving around, looking for somewhere to go, when we happened past church - only to see the lights still on! So, we wandered in, giving Benj, Stu and Josh quite a shock, as they thought we were at the movies! We hung around for a few hours, eating 'ecstasy chockies', drinking free stuff and detaining josh from going to some party he was supposed to be at (but he ended up going anyway, 'cos he was all dressed up in his tux). Eventually, benj needed to go home to his family (sorry nicole!) so we left... to discover that smart old me had locked my keys in the car!
We walked through the dark and creepy streets of Malvern to my place, where i got the spare key and informed my mother that i would be bunking at kates... and when i walked back out of the front door, who should be standing there in her pjs but nic! Randomest thing i've seen in awhile but apparently she was dropping jess at a party across the road. After a quick chat we headed back to the car - where we discovered that silly old kate had failed to lock her door in the first place, so we could have saved ourselves lots of trouble (insert lots of eye rolling here).
After sitting in the dark car, waiting for ailie's rentals and then having a long and rowdy discussion with the preppy/wild/eccentric (i'll explain later) debate that kept kate and i up until all hours, our night was over. We'd made slight idiots of ourselves, many a time - think drive through, returning to church, actually being able to get into the car which we thought was locked... - but we'd definately had fun! so sucks to all of you who said you couldn't come! Lol, you'll have to join us next time.
Au Rev!
