Blogging Prejudice

Listen up-
I've got to say, since i started this up with no real intention of doing much with it, i've become quite attatched to my little blog. Being able to post my thoughts on whatever i want is appealing and the thought of anyone, anywhere being able to read what i think gives me a buzz... even if nobody does read it! I like being able to share my thoughts on stuff, maybe kick-start somebody else into thinking about it too...

However, i dislike the way that having this blog has generated the opinion that i'm some kind of computer-geek/i have too much time on my hands/i'm being silly/i'm strange... blah blah blah. I'd like to point out that blogging isn't some lame activity pursued by those with no social skills who sit at their computers until 2am, fiddling with HTMLs. Millions of people all over the world have blogs, so they can share stuff with others. Are all of those people loosers? I don't think so. People like Bill Gates make millions from computers; obviously they're not completely geeky. Even i could make money from this blog if i wanted to, no sweat. Plus, i know lots of you who have their own blogs, even if just for photos, jokes or quotes- whatever. So aren't you being a bit hypocritical?!? If i like to write, if i like to have an opinion, then blogging i a good way to so those things, in a society that otherwise doesn't want to listen to me. So, if you're going to pay me out about blogging and you're happy having no imput in society or being fine with keeping your thoughts to yourself, fine. But don't push your prejudices onto me.

Glad we got that sorted.
Have a nice day!
