Heads Or Tails

Well, as per usual, it's down to the wire. I have an interview report (basically, 1000words talking about everything that i did well/badly in my interview) to write before tomorrow, and i also have to finish my resume so that i can hand it to a bunch of shops tomorrow morning, before uni. I need a new job. I'll be up late tonight, finishing it all off!

Another wire related piece of information? Um... admittedly, the first thing that comes to mind is wire of the barbed variety. As in angry, twisty, painful barbed wire. I'm beginning to think that i'd be a piece of barbed wire if i were an inanimate object. It's been one of my 'angry weeks', where i channel teh dark and twist Meredith Gray. I've more or less been a recluse (re: staying in my room and watching dvds/reading/napping/avoiding human contact). I am, once again, trying to be tough and not let people push me around, getting me to do their bidding all the time. And, i'm going to keep my defences up, and not let people in (again, note barbed wire resemblance) - which i've been doing very well this week. It's good to have a plan.

Gotta say, this weeks tie-in to 'wire' wasn't exactly excellent...

  2. Interesting piece of work you've posted for us today. I actually LIKE the reference to barbed wire.

Which brings me to the subject that my husband and I have argued over for the last 40 years...is it BARBED or BOBBED?

He says Bobbed wire, I say Barbed wire. So, that makes two of us..you and me.

My HoT is shared, hope you come over and visit.

  3. I'm curious, why are you writing a report on your interview? Is it for a class, or the job? Interesting... anyway. :) Thanks for sharing this Tuesday! When you get a chance, take a look at my HoT.
