Dum De Dum...

For the benefit of MarriedMan and his work cronies, and in loving defiance of everyone who shooed me out of church so that i would study and warned me away from my blog, i shall tell you some of those 'immediate thoughts' that Bri and i are so fond of.

--> There's the fact that church is lots of fun when MarriedMan comes. Because band practice turns into a re-hash of old Five and B*Witched songs and because we laugh at all of the ridiculous mistakes that we make in the songs. Because conversation turns to the ways we could make Loz look like a boy (for the record, it involved a cap and re-naming her Laurence). Because we plot fake terrorist scare in the airport and talk about purple aboriginals (long story...). And so on. Dude, you're a hoot (hehe, is this amusing you?).

--> In other news, i studied for the wrong exam and am now not prepared for my tuesday exam - which, of course, if why i'm still procrastinating. I plan to stay up until 3am tonight if i have to, or until i get a produtive amount done.

--> Apparently, i look ridiculous when i stand behind a microphone and clap (under duress, mind you - i didn't WANT to clap). Now, i know i look stupid. So i'd like to thank those that stand dead centre in the congregation and laugh at me, just to drive the point home. Luckily, i'm not really mad. I don't even mind that i make silly faces when i sing the wrong line by accident and people laugh at those too. I think i'm growing as a person, clearly!

--> Rev. J gave an awesome sermon tonight. We podcast them. So check it out if you want to hear a ministers thoughts on marriage and sex. I've got to say, it's pretty amusing to hear your minister talk about imagining Adam and Eve emerging from the bushes, flushed and tired after a good romp. Classic. Especially for his son, sitting behind me. Anyway, awesome sermon - even though it was long and i was tired, i listened the whole way through.

--> I had a bunch of other stuff to say... but i can't remember it (which doesn't bode well for the upcoming exams). So, au revoir for now, while i get back to the books!!
